We invite you to partner with us by attending a special event: Peruvian Fiesta! We have planned a fun evening that includes authentic Peruvian cuisine, music, and entertainment. All proceeds will go toward La Buena Semilla, a special children's home located in the jungle of Peru near Puerto Maldanado.

The Cause

 

The high rate of crime in Puerto Maldonado, particularly in human and drug trafficking, has had a tragic impact on the lives of many children in the area. Each one of these children is just like any other, apart from the terrible experiences they've had to endure, leaving them in desperate need of help. At La Buena Semilla, these children experience a home filled with love and joy, maybe for the first time. The stories of transformation in the children are incredible to hear and a privilege to see.

Through Isaiah Projects, the home provides permanent and transitional care for boys and girls who are victims of family violence and abuse, or who are abandoned or homeless. The team of Peruvian missionaries at La Buena Semilla are providing a safe and loving home where the children can heal from their past and gain hope for their future.

La Buena Semilla relies purely on donations, and there are many needs to be met. Our goal is to raise $10,000 at the Fiesta. 100% of the proceeds will help pay for the daily costs associated with providing ongoing care for the children of La Buena Semilla.

The Event

​

The dinner will be a delicious compliment of well-known Peruvian dishes which is known world-wide for the flavours this country's cuisine offers. Guest Chef from Peru, Christian Pajuelo, will be preparing the food in true Peruvian style.

What is on the menu? Causa Limeña, Lomo Saltado, Arroz con leche y Mazamorra Morada, Jugo de Maracuyá, and Jugo de Chicha Morada. (Gluten free available)
