Isaiah Projects began working in the rural highlands of Quiche, Guatemala with our first team trip in April, 2015. Since then, we have continued to build relationships and work alongside community members to help alleviate hardship and promote positive, healthy change in the lives of the families. We have partnered with a small group of Ministry of Agriculture workers who work tirelessly in over 50 rural communities focusing on projects such as native seed planting, sustainable family vegetable gardens, rainwater collection, worm composting, micro business opportunities such as soap and shampoo making etc..  We also install earthen floors in homes to provide a healthier, cleaner environment. We want to be intentional about recognizing the value and respecting the importance of the work these people are already doing to improve their daily life. We will continue to offer support both financially but perhaps more importantly through the building of authentic relationship.
