Cozumel - Mexico

Cozumel  is an island and municipality in the Caribbean Sea off the eastern coast of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, opposite Playa del Carmen. The municipality is part of the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico. Our ministry in Cozumel is headed up by Kevin and Faye Kitzman, who after 21 years of visiting the island felt called to give back in some way. In 2019, while determining how this would take shape, their son Ben was tragically taken in a car accident. Ben had a heart for children and for those that society does not accept, and it is these characteristics that  have shaped the vision that began to be enacted in 2020.

The vision of Casa Ben is encapsulated in three words: PROTECT - PROVIDE - PREPARE. It is these things that Casa Ben strives to do as it prepares children for the life that was intended for them rather than one impacted by the addiction and crime that surrounds them and that they can so easily fall prey to. Currently Casa Ben's feeding program runs weekly on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Plans are also in the works to add an English program for anyone who wishes to take part.

The long term vision is to have a greater sphere of influence on the children through the construction or purchase of an orphanage that will facilitate any and all of the needs of the children.

All your children will be taught by the Lord,
and great will be their peace.

Prayer Requests and Needs:

Ongoing funding for the feeding program, specifically for our cooks salary and for the food provided at each meal

For shoes and clothing for the children

For wisdom and guidance as Isaiah Projects registers as a Mexican charity, and for the provision of funding for land for Casa Ben to have a permanent  ministry location.

For God to bring along the right people to staff the program as it expands
